Oita Prefecture human rights awareness character Kokoro-chan has pink hair inspired by Bungo ume, the prefectural flower, and a heart representing a kind heart that respects human rights. A warbling white-eye, the prefectural bird, sits on her hair. Kokoro-chan is a human-rights fairy who promotes human rights so that people can feel closer to human rights issues.
