Beppu City publicity director Beppyon. This rabbit became publicity director in December 2013. Its long ears and bangs represent rising steam, while its tail is apparently made from yunohana flowers from Beppu Onsen. With visiting hot springs as a hobby, Beppyon appears at events in various places and works hard to promote Beppu City and Beppu Onsen.
