Mishima Area promotion character, Mishimaru-ta-kun. Since being born as a tree spirit around 716, he has continued watching over the world. He also serves as the mascot character of the All-Japan Log Fast-Cutting Championship held every August. Carrying a Wakino-machi saw, a local specialty, he works hard to promote the Mishima area.
