“Let's have fun! Hata Expo” mascot character Hatappy. She was created as the character for “Hata Expo,” a tourism event held for six months from July of Heisei 25 by six municipalities in the Hata region, where people experienced the region's great outdoors and learned about it by eating food grown there. She is a girl born from the boundary between the sun and sea in southwestern Kochi Prefecture and is active in promoting the event and the Hata region!
