Ochi Town image character Yokojiro. Yokojiro is a fairy of Mount Yokogura who became the town's image character in 2015, modeled after the town bird, the Japanese white-eye, and the town symbol, Mount Yokogura. His body is Niyodo Blue, inspired by the Niyodo River flowing through the town. The town tree, cedar, is designed on him, and he holds the town flower, cosmos, in his beak? He wears a hat inspired by Mount Yokogura, and his hobbies are playing in rivers and forest bathing. He usually lives on Mount Yokogura and goes to events to promote his beloved Ochi Town.
