Warabī, Warabi City’s mascot character, was selected from public submissions and created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the city’s municipal organization. Warabī made a renewed debut in 2009, when the city celebrated the 50th anniversary of its municipal organization. Warabī appears on signs and buses in the city and works hard on public-relations activities, including going to events, so that more people will learn about Warabi City and Warabī.
