Gyoda Native Green Soybean character Gyoda Mamekichi. Green soybeans, cultivated in the city since long ago, disappeared once during the Showa 50s (1975–1984), but have recently been reevaluated and begun to be cultivated again. This character was created to promote their sales and publicize them.
