Oma Town's official yurukyara Kamomāru. Modeled on the seagull, the town bird, he has the Omazaki Lighthouse on his head, which was selected as one of Japan's 50 best lighthouses. Unveiled in March 2015 to promote Oma's tuna, his favorite food, and Oma Town, he appears mainly at events in the town and welcomes visitors who come to play.
