Hachinohe City mascot characters, the Ikazukinzu. These characters, based on black-tailed gulls, share the appeal of Hachinohe. After father Kabusan (blue) and mother Shimachan (pink) debuted as a pair, their children Kokabukun (older brother, green) and Koumichan (younger sister, yellow) were born, and they are active as the Ikazukinzu family.
