Iwate Prefecture 3R promotion character: Ecorol. Ecorol is a 3R fairy created in 2014 to promote and advance the Mottainai Iwate 3R Movement, based on the three Rs of reduce, reuse, and recycle waste. Ecorol always carries a reusable bag, reusable bottle, and reusable chopsticks while calling for participation in the 3R movement.
