Arita Porcelain 400th Anniversary mascot character Ceramie. After being created in 1996 as the mascot of the Japan Expo Saga, Ceramie became the mascot character promoting activities toward 2016, the 400th anniversary of the founding of Arita porcelain. Ceramie represents “fire and earth” and works hard in promotional activities while appearing at various events mainly in Saga Prefecture.
