Kiyama Town image characters Kiyaman and Kiyamaru. Kiyaman (brown) wears a hat inspired by azaleas, the city flower, and Akimitsu River, and is modeled on Kii Castle in the town. While protecting Kii Castle as it reaches its 1,350th anniversary of construction, Kiyaman promotes Kiyama Town. Kiyamaru (yellow) appeared in July 2015 to promote the 1,350th anniversary of Kii Castle’s construction, and the two are said to work together for Kiyama Town in the future.
