Nagano Prefecture Wastewater Division character Megurun. Selected in 2011 from submissions for both its design and nickname, Megurun was created with a water droplet as its motif and watches over the water of Nagano Prefecture, “surrounded by abundant nature and clear water.” In the nationwide sewerage mascot election held in 2014, Megurun apparently achieved second place!
