Kamomaru and Kamomi represent a concept that brings together eight areas—Minokamo City, Kawaibe Town, Yaotsu Town, Shirakawa Town, Higashishirakawa Village, Hichiso Town, Tomika Town, and Sakahogi Town—with Minokamo City at the center. The surrounding areas cooperate and revitalize one another by making use of each town's appeal, aiming to create communities where people want to continue living.
