Iijima Town image character Iichan. Inspired by the character “i” in the town's name, Iichan expresses the richness of nature in “the town where you can see the two Alps” and wears a jingasa hat. Apparently, Iichan normally has a gigantic body 3,000 meters tall but shrinks to about 2 meters when appearing in front of everyone. Iichan is said to have a gentle personality and brightens and energetically promotes Iijima Town at events and elsewhere!
