Minchu is the PR mascot character for Bingo Fuchu-yaki, the Fuchu City's specialty okonomiyaki made with minced beef or pork and plenty of cabbage. It is fluffy inside, while the noodles on the outside are grilled crisp with meat juices. Minchu is a mouse wearing a twisted headband. Minchu visits Fuchu-yaki stalls and kindergartens in the city to encourage more people to eat and enjoy Fuchu-yaki.
