The mascot character of the Fusa district, Fusada Dashio was created to restore vitality to the Fusa district, which had lost its energy after the Great East Japan Earthquake. The character is inspired by the Reitaisai festival of Takeuchi Shrine. Fusada Dashio participates in events and festivals in the Fusa district, helps enliven them, and shares information about the district.
