The Six Monkey Family are Matsushiro Town's characters. They debuted in 2010 after their character name was solicited from the public. Based on the children's song “Osaru no Kagoya,” the family consists of father Essa, mother Hoisa, and child Sassa. The three visit festivals and other events inside the prefecture to promote Matsushiro Town!
