Tonami City symbol characters, Churi-kun and Rippu-chan. The siblings—older brother Churi-kun and younger sister Rippu-chan—were created with tulips, both a local specialty and the city's flower, as their motif. To promote and enliven the Tonami Tulip Fair, they take walks together through the Tonami Tulip Gallery and participate in events in various places.
