Chasurin is Asago City's PR character. Based on Chasuriyama Kofun, the largest of its kind in the Kinki region, and an ancient person, he was created in 2006 and is a boy about 1,600 years old. He participates in many events while sharing information from Asago City on Facebook and elsewhere.
