Bokkurin is Takasago City's mascot character. A fairy boy born from the Aioi Pine at Takasago Shrine in the city, Bokkurin received a name chosen from submissions by local elementary school children. With a mission to "bring people together," Bokkurin takes part in events and other activities to promote Takasago City.
