Kakegawa City mascot character Chanomiya Kinjiro. Born on November 8, “Good Leaf Day,” to promote Kakegawa, the “town of tea.” He is a boy modeled on Ninomiya Kinjiro, who has ties to Kakegawa City. Wearing tea-colored clothing inspired by Kakegawa’s deep-steamed tea, he participates in events and other activities to promote tea and Kakegawa City!
