Uwakamon

The concept originated in the student council’s plans for the 2013 school year, and the character was finally completed last year. It was unveiled at the sports festival. Uwakamon was created after the ducks that live or once lived at Uwa Junior High School. A flower shaped like the school emblem sits on its head. The blue outfit is based on the volunteer jackets used at our school, which actively participates as a volunteer-declaration school. We also aim to be Japan’s number-one school for greetings. Today, Uwakamon takes part in various events and has become the face of Uwa Junior High School.
