Ishikari City official characters Saketaro and Sakeko were born in June 2006 and have been active as Ishikari City official characters since 2013. They are apparently bilingual, speaking both fish language and human language. Together with Sakeko, his sweetheart, Saketaro enjoys their favorite Ishikari hot pot while promoting Ishikari City’s attractions at events inside and outside the city!
