Itoshima City image character Itogon. This dragon child character was created because the shape of the Itoshima Peninsula resembles a dragon’s head. It holds hamabō, the city flower, in its hands. It was named Itogon by combining “ito” from Itoshima and “gon” from dragon, and appears at many events to promote the Itoshima City where it lives!
