Higashihiroshima City Council of Social Welfare image character Kokoron was created after an image-character recruitment drive in Heisei 24 (2012), selected by a public vote from more than 200 entries. Based on a heart, Kokoron apparently carries “a warm, considerate heart” in the bag held in its hand.
