JA Kitakawachi image character Kitapy is a fairy of the Chinese milk vetch, created to commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of JA Kitakawachi’s merger. The name Kitapy comes from “Kitakawachi” and “happy.” Kitapy works hard by visiting events so that more people will eat the rice harvested in the area and so it can “warm everyone’s hearts.”
