Kamijima Town Chamber of Commerce Youth Division character Kamirin. This character debuted in 2016 after being selected from more than 1,000 entries submitted from Japan and abroad to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the merger. Kamirin is a sea deity who has protected the people of Kamijima Town since long ago. Inspired by ripples, Kamirin wears seaweed and cherry-blossom hair ornaments, while the pochette represents the local specialty Iwagi lemons and candy. Kamirin works while watching over the townspeople to promote Kamijima Town, rich in attractions.
