Shikokuchuo City mascot character Shikochu~ expresses the attractions of Shikokuchuo City with his whole body, including its abundant forests and water resources and its status as Japan’s leading city of paper. He was created in 2014 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the merger. He appears at various events inside and outside the prefecture to promote the city’s attractions so that more people will learn about Shikokuchuo City.
