Nishihara Town tourism character Sawaran. Sawaran is a fairy unveiled in March 2015, with the flower of the sawa-fuji, which is both the town's flower and tree and is designated as a natural monument, blooming on its head. Sawaran appears at various events inside and outside the town to help more people learn about Nishihara Town's attractions while interacting with many people.
