Kitahiroshima Town image character Hanada Mōtarō (Hanada Mōtarō). He is modeled on the decorated oxen of Mibu’s Hanadaue, an intangible cultural heritage of the town. His nickname was selected from entries submitted by elementary and junior high school students in the town and decided in February 2015. Goods such as straps and stuffed toys and LINE stickers were completed, and he also became a tourism ambassador, taking part in various events to promote Kitahiroshima Town.
