Kita no Pēchin, Naka Yukurin, and Shiro Māi

Kitanakagusuku Village regional revitalization characters, Kita no Pēchin, Naka Yukurin, and Shiro Māi. They are three close childhood friends active as “regional activity characters” aiming to revitalize Kitanakagusuku Village. Kita no Pēchin (left) is an energetic 10-year-old boy skilled at sanshin and eisa, in charge of tourism. Naka Yukurin (center) is a 10-year-old girl whose face expresses the shape of Kitanakagusuku Village and whose green color represents the specialty arsa. She hates bad things and has a strong sense of justice, so she is in charge of peace. Shiro Māi (right) is a 10-year-old girl with “tremendous knowledge about health.” She is in charge of health while soothing everyone with her smiling face.
