Nakacho image character: Nakachan. She is a girl created in October 2010 to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Nakacho's merger, with the Nakagawa River flowing through the town as her motif. She wears an ayu living in the Nakagawa, said to be one of the leading clear streams in northern Kanto, on her head. She appears at events and is active while making friends with everyone in town and telling many people about Nakacho's charms!
