Noginon is Nogi Town's mascot character. Noginon was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Nogi Town's establishment, based on the town flower, the sunflower, and the brick kiln designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. Noginon is an energetic and cheerful girl who appears at events inside and outside the town to promote Nogi Town.
