Morimin is Akiota Town's forest-therapy image character. Morimin was created in February 2013 in the image of the Japanese dormouse, a small animal living in Hiroshima Prefecture, including at the foot of Mount Osorakan. Morimin is a mountain fairy whose hobby is napping in the forests of nature-rich Akiota Town and who will be active at events and elsewhere.
