Takasu Town mascot character Attakasu-kun. Attakasu-kun debuted in 1995 modeled on a hawk, then was renewed and reborn in 2013. He carries on his back “Wolf’s Peach,” a tomato juice made from a specialty of Takasu Town, and tomatoes are also featured on his belly. He appears at events inside and outside the town and works hard to promote Takasu Town.
