Ukiha City character Ukipī. Ukipī was created in Heisei 23 (2011) to promote “Ukiha, the town of fruit” throughout Japan. Because Ukiha is one of Japan's leading persimmon-producing areas, persimmons are his motif, and he wears clothes inspired by namako walls. He works hard to promote Ukiha City and to be loved by all its residents.
