Seida no Tamaji image character. Tamajimaru is the image character of Seida no Tamaji, a local dish from Uenohara City consisting of small potatoes simmered in miso and sugar until sweet and savory, which has continued since the Edo period. Tamajimaru appears at Seida no Tamaji vendor booths and events in the prefecture to help more and more people learn about the dish and to energize Uenohara City.
