Dofu-kun is the mascot character of “Kasugai, the Town of Spring.” Based on Ono no Michikaze, he debuted at the 2008 Kasugai Festival as the mascot character of “Kasugai, the Town of Spring,” after being selected by a residents' vote. His hobby is playing with frogs, and he appears at many events in Kasugai City.
