The goddess of Sango Town, Tatsutahime, was created as the goddess of autumn in the town as part of the project commemorating the 1,300th anniversary of the transfer of the capital to Heijō-kyo. It is apparently believed that the goddess of autumn lives on Mount Tatsuta in the town. She works as an image character to spread Sango Town's history and culture and further develop the town.
