Yukimaru is Oji Town's official mascot character. Created in the image of Prince Shotoku's beloved dog, Yukimaru was recognized as Oji Town's mascot character in June 2013 and became the town's tourism and public-relations ambassador in August. He is a boy who appears at many events, on television, and elsewhere to help create a more vibrant Oji Town and support the development of a hometown of harmony where people and the town shine toward the future.
