Kashihara City's tourism promotion character, Kodaichan, is a herbivorous-type boy wearing an eboshi hat inspired by the Three Mountains of Yamato. His name was chosen through a public call for entries, and he debuted in 1995. Although he still seems to have many mysteries, he works as the city's promotional character, including through merchandise sales.
