Yasu City image character Dōtaku-kun was born in 1988, at the same time the Dotaku Museum opened. Apparently, he is the oldest among the characters in the prefecture. He is active in various ways, including winning the Yuru Character Cup held at Tottori Sand Dunes, and was renewed and reborn in November 2014.
