Isumi City mascot character Isumin. This girl was selected in a public vote after a nationwide call for entries and unveiled in August of Heisei 25 (2013). She wears a hat inspired by the area’s specialty pears, while her hair ornament is an spiny lobster, landed in nationally significant quantities. She holds ears of Isumi rice and works hard to promote it nationwide!
