Gojo City's mascot characters are three people: Gōchan, born in Gojo at the center; Kakkī, born in Nishiyoshino and wearing the local specialty persimmon; and Hoshi-hakase, born in Oto and in charge of promoting Oto Cosmic Park Hoshinokuni. Each was active in their respective area, but since its merger into Gojo City, the three have worked together to promote Gojo City.
