Misato City mascot characters Kai-chan and Tsubu-chan. Born in Heisei 21 (2009) with the city bird, the little grebe, as their motif. Kai-chan also serves as the city’s goodwill ambassador and apparently knows everything about Misato City. Tsubu-chan is learning about the city while exploring it, aspiring to become a goodwill ambassador too. She appears at various events to tell more people about Misato City’s attractions.
