Lesser-kun

I'm Lesser-kun, the official mascot character of the Okazaki City Fire Department. He is based on the Red Salamander, one of only two emergency vehicles of its kind in Japan, deployed by the Okazaki City Fire Department. I'm not a red panda~🐼 His helmet is a special design featuring Okazaki City's flower, the cherry blossom🚒 Lesser-kun was born after being raised as an agenda item at a student city council composed of Okazaki City junior high school students❕ The character design is based on the grand-prize-winning entry selected from more than 600 submissions in an open competition among Okazaki City elementary and junior high school students. Carrying the thoughts of the students involved in creating the character, I will do my best to aim for the top... the Grand Prix!!
