Satte City character Sacchan was created in 1991, commemorating the fifth anniversary of the city’s municipal organization, with a cherry blossom motif because Satte City is a city of cherry blossoms and is home to Gongendo Sakura Tsutsumi, a famous cherry blossom spot. Sacchan appears at events to promote Satte City, the “city where people grasp happiness in their hands.”
