This character was created in 2010 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the city administration, based on the city's bird, the skylark, and an airplane, reflecting Tokorozawa's status as the birthplace of aviation. Tokoron works hard by taking part in events to share Tokorozawa's appeal. It has even been issued a certificate of residence, appointed as a special public-relations member of the volunteer fire corps, and featured on city manhole covers, attracting considerable attention!
