Kapao lives in the lush Ochiai River, which was selected as one of the "100 Famous Waters of the Heisei Era" nearby. Shy and lonely, but loving toward humans and full of curiosity, Kapao tends to appear wherever people are gathered or the atmosphere seems fun. After hearing rumors that it could make the mall even more enjoyable, Kapao began appearing inside Aeon Mall. Homemade rice-bran-pickled cucumbers are a reward when tired. Kapao is eternally five years old and dislikes having the dish on its head dry out.
